ONDO POLICE KICKED AGAINST SELECTIVE PAYMENT OF ELECTION ALLOWANCE,, MAY PROTEST IN AKURE 

The Officers and Men of the Nigerian Police Force , Ondo State Command have kicked against selective payments of Election Duty allowances as a result of the just concluded, Ondo Governorship Election, held in Ondo State on the 16th of November, 2024.

According to some of the affected and aggrieved officers and men of the Force who does not want their names in the print, stated that very few of over five thousand officers and men that served during the election have been paid, while the allowances of numerous others are still in limbo and hanged in the balance.

” We have submitted our various account numbers, are Nigerian Banks not working again, they want to syphon the money”, stated the affected officers. ” We have risked our lives during the election, Inspector General of Police should as a matter of urgency order for the payment of our election allowances”,they cried out.

If the election money is not paid,the affected cops might protest in Akure next week Monday,a source disclosed.
