One of the foremost Ifedore sons and retired Chief Superintendent of Police CSP Emmanuel Adewumi(rtd) has officially joined politics under the platform of All Progressives Congress APC, at a colourful event in Ijare Local Council Development Authority,,Ijare ,Ondo State today.
The Chief Superintendent of Police CSP Emmanuel Adewumi(rtd) a k.a BALUBA who has served in various capabilities in the Nigerian Police Force has assisted tremendously at ensuring that over two hundred youth of Ifedore LGA were recruited into Nigerian Police,who are today doing well in the Force.
Personally,the erudite politician and retired Divisional Police Officer has generated employment to various Nigerians in his business enterprise .While he has contributed his quota to the development of his country home as well as humanity.
Making the official declaration and joining of APC,he stated that the unprecedented achievements of the Governor of Ondo State His Excellency Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has inspired him to join politics under the platform of APC.
He however commended all the leaderships of APC in Ijare including Hon Idowu Adebusuyi,Hon Alex Oladimeji,Hon.DipoAjibola,ChiefDare Aiyesoro ,Hon Oyinka sola amongst others for their support and words of encouragement which also cumulated in his decision to join politics after his thirty five years meritorious service in the Force.
In his words “my mission is to contribute to the development of my immediate community, humanity as well as the society at large,if given the opportunity to serve ,and I promised to bring my experience into bear as a retired top echelon of the Nigerian Police Force “,CSP Emmanuel Adewumi(rtd) declared.
He used the occasion to call on the good people of the area to vote en-masse for Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa and his deputy during the forth coming Nov.16th,2024 Governorship Election in Ondo State.They should vote for continuity and good governance,he added.
