The Erelu-Iyalojal of Akure Kingdom, Chief Mrs Mercy Adefunmilayo Adekanye has congratulated the Ondo State Governor,His Excellency Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa on the occasion of the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Sunshine State.
She made the disclosure while fielding questions from Journalists in Akure today.
Chief Mrs Mercy Adefunmilayo Adekanye who rejoiced with the Governor,the Deji of Akure Oba(Dr) Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi CFR and the good people of the State,declared that Ondo State since it was created by General Murtala Ramat Mohammad, had moved forward tremendously in the area of Infrastructure,road construction, health, education, commerce and industry,agriculture, peace and security amongst others.
“We are very grateful to the Governor,he has ensured that Akure City got a Federal Teaching Hospital that they have been yawning for, for several years”, the Erelu-Iyalojal pointed out.
She commended the past and present leaders in Ondo State for their doggeness, steafatness and the various efforts they have made and geared towards moving Ondo State forward since it was created 50years ago.
