ODUDU APPRECIATES MEMBERS OF NURTW IN ONDO STATE DURING FIRST MEETING OF THE YEAR 2025
The Ondo State Chairman of National Union of Road Transport Workers NURTW,Ondo State Council Com.Ademola Odudu has commended members of NURTW in the Sunshine State for their unalloyed and total support since the Union bounced back in Ondo State.
He particularly commended the branch chairmen of the Union in Ondo State for ensuring that NURTW operations in Ondo State is going on unhindered.
He lauded members for their support during the Governorship Campaign and Election in the State pointing out that in all the Local Government Areas of Ondo State,the nooks and crannies,members of the Union under his able leadership were physically present.
Our presence and attendance during the governorship campaigns and votes during the election has been commended by the Governor,His Excellency Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa .
He admonished them to be security conscious as the year 2025 progresses pointing out that ,drivers do transport the good and the bad people in the society and there is a need for drivers to be security conscious all the time.Because drivers too are parts of the security architecture of Nigeria.
He informed the drivers that,he would follow to the letter the constitution of the Union with the aim of administering them very well,promising not to go out of NURTW constitution to govern them.
He mentioned that according to NURTW constitution,KEKE NAPEP OR KEKE MARUWA is part and parcel and under the canopy of NURTW.Therefore,all operations of Tricyclists fall under the jurisdiction of NURTW in Nigeria.
