The Ondo State Chairman of National Union of Road Transport Workers NURTW, Ambassador Ademola Odudu has dissociated himself and members of his Union in Ondo State from the melee that ensued at APC State Secretariat in Akure,where the State Chairman of the Party,Engr.Ade Adetimehin and others were manhandled and beaten up.
Odudu declared that it is callous of anyone to link his name or any member of National Union to the fight explaining that he is a peace loving person that will never involve himself in any act,that can jeopardize the relative peace being enjoyed in Ondo State.
The Ondo State Chairman of NURTW debunked in strong term the false allegation that he led some miscreants to disrupt the APC Stakeholders meeting at the Patty’s Secretariat explaining that the claim of his involvement was a lie from the abyss.
He stated that it was an inter-party rivalry among various supporters and interest groups that led to the brouhaha,and that being a peaceful man,he was trying to calm them down when the security agencies arrived at the Secretariat of the party to bring peace and orderliness to the whole situation.
