  The bumper harvest of suspected criminals,car snatchers, killer herdsmen,armed and unarmed robbers and other criminal elements in the Ondo State Police Command of the Nigeria Police Force is very inspiring.

The feat recorded in couple of days ago, cannot be underestimated because the Ondo State Commissioner of Police CP Wilfred Afolabi without being immodest and after clandestine assessment of his performances since he resumed as CP,Ondo State Command,has been doing his possible best.

Honestly, securing Ondo State is not for the faint hearted,the Commissioner of Police never sleep nor slumber as far as making Ondo State hell on earth for criminals.

Those that cannot perceive the performances of the CP, should go ahead and remove their cataracts so that they can see clearly,what is happening in Ondo State from the security perspective.

He has unrepentant believe in community policing,while those that are actually prepared to collaborate with the police through useful information are usually welcomed as the CP office is open for all and sundry to volunteer needful information, in order to pin down harbingers of violence and criminals in the Sunshine State.

One of the major positive steps taken by the CP immediately he resumed office was to organize various seminars and workshops for the officers,ranks and files of the Force in Ondo State especially on intelligence gathering and dissemination.This development,has helped tremendously in the onerous task before the Police to secure Ondo State.

Personally,from the private purse of the CP,Ondo State Command, various articulated police patrol vehicles have been repaired and put back to road, with the assistance of the Ondo State Government,led by His Excellency Dr.Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.

The Ondo State Tactical Teams set up by the Commissioner of Police parades officers and member that are highly professional  and cerebral  who  know their onions as far as tracking down of  criminals is concerned.

No, wonder the tactical teams discovered a Whare House in the State where Stolen Properties like Plasma TV sets , stolen vehicle spare parts , dangerous weapons,guns,stolen motor cycles, computer sets, clothing materials,etc were kept. Due to the ingenuity of the Ondo C.P and the collaborative efforts of other sister agencies.

For the Police to record huge success,there is a need for everyone to be security conscious, stop harbouring criminals,allow police to vet and profile there would be tenants,house-help, Mai guard,farm labourers among others.

Ondo State is in safe hand, the CP,Ondo State is very practical in his herculean task of securing the state,he is not in Ondo State to amass wealth at the expense of our collective security.

He is not combating act of criminalities in State physically only.Being a genuine Christian and prayer warrior,,he has equally committed Ondo State into the invisible hand of God,.because a watchman watches over the city in vain, unless God himself is involved.

The Ondo State Commissioner of Police is very dynamic, proactive and service oriented. Therefore, join me as i  doff my hat,for the gallant performances of this unassuming and uncompromising of C.P Wilfred Afolabi since he was posted to Ondo State.
