PEACE WILL CONTINUE TO REIGN IN NURTW, ONDO STATE COUNCIL SAYS COM. ADEMOLA ODUDU
The Ondo State Chairman of NURTW, Com Ademola Odudu has averred that peace has reigned and will continue to be reigning in the National Union
across the eighteen Local Government of Ondo State and all the Local Council Development Areas during his tenure in office. He made the disclosure while fielding questions from journalists in his office recently.
He declared that he has held several meetings with his members to be orderly in the discharge of their professional driving jobs, explaining that he would not tolerate any form of chaos in the motor parks across Ondo State.According to the state chairman, any driver(s) formenting trouble either in the Unit or Branch levels with the intention of taking over power forcefully will be arrested and treated like armed robbers and subsequently charge to court,because it is against the Constitution of National Union for anyone to forcefully take over power or take over power under duress explaining that in the Union everything is ” turn by turn ‘,he explained.
The articulate chairman harped that,his assumption of office as the State Chairman was an act of God Almighty. ” I began my driving profession as ‘Agbero’ in the motor park,rose through various positions from the unit to the branch levels,state level as Vice Chairman to Ex-officio before God elevated me to the position of the state chairman of the Union,so everything is “turn by turn”,he added.
The Chairman quipped that one of his topmost priorities is the welfare of members of the Union adding that drivers are respected and responsible members of the public that must be accorded respect all the time.
