EZE NDIGBO ONDO STATE COMMENDS HIS EXCELLENCY LUCKY ORIMISAN AIYEDATIWA,SAYS WE ARE LUCKY TO HAVE HIM AS OUR GOVERNOR
The President Eze Ndigbo in Diaspora and the Eze Ndigbo of Ondo State,Sir(Ambassador) Eze Gregory Iloehika has commended the Ondo State Governor his Excellency Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for ensuring that peace is maintained in Ondo State since he assumed office as the Governor of the State.
” Businesses can only progress in an atmosphere of peace,nothing can be achieved in an atmosphere devoid of peace,so our Governor has ensured peace and security in Ondo State,and there is a need to appreciate him”,Eze Ndigbo declared.
He stated that the Governor has endeared himself into the hearts of the good people of Ondo State and the non- indigenes ,through his numerous achievements,hence he won in all the eighteen local government areas of Ondo State during the governorship election,he explained.
While congratulating the Governor on his coming February 2025 swearing-in ceremony with his deputy,he enjoined the Governor not to relent on his oar at delivering dividends of democracy to the door steps of all the citizen of the state.
He stated the Ndigbos in Ondo State are ready to work effectively with the Governor with the aim of improving the economy of the state.
He lauded the Ondo State Government under the leadership of His Excellency Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for patronizing the business concerns of the Ndigbos in the Sunshine State.”We are very proud of you sir”,he averred.
Eze Ndigbo stated that he remains the only Eze Ndigbo in Ondo State pointing out that anybody parading himself as Eze Ndigbo is an impersonator. “There was an election where I won convincingly,sworn-in and power handed over to me by the immediate past Eze Ndigbo of Ondo State Chief Nwobodo,and I have no issue with any traditional ruler in Ondo State and beyond”,he stated.
“As far as Akure the Ondo State capital is concerned,I have contributed my quotas to the development of the ancient city of Akure both in cash and kind,”,Eze Ndigbo pointed out.
‘Therefore, the position of Eze Ndigbo is not peculiar to Akure nor Ondo State only,it is a universal position spreading across all the nooks and crannies of Ondo State,Nigeria as well as overseas countries “,he added.
Presently,the Eze Ndigbo of Ondo is the President-General Association of Ndi Eze Igbo in Diaspora.
