It was a sporadic jubilation in Oda Community in Akure South Local Government Area yesterday when the news of approval of His Royal Majesty Oba Olugbenga Adewole Aluko Ajiluyi Ekun from Adegbemiro Dynasty broke out in the ancient community.
It would be recalled that a few months ago,all the Kingmakers in the Oda Community selected Oba Olugbenga Adewole Aluko as the new Olojoda of Oda.
But on 13th of April,2026, during the Executive Council meeting headed by His Excellency Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa ratified and approved the appointment of Oba Olugbenga Adewole Aluko as the substantive Olojoda of Oda Kingdom.
Senior High Chief Akuresanmi Bakare who is Ojomu of Oda Kingdom who was in a state of ecstasy when the news broke out appreciated the Ondo State Governor for giving approval to Oba Olugbenga Adewole Aluko Ajiluyi Ekun from Adegbemiro Dynasty as the substantive Olojoda of Oda Kingdom.
Speaking through a telephone interview,Oba Olugbenga Adewole Aluko Ajiluyi Ekun from Adegbemiro Dynasty described the approval by the Ondo State Government as a welcome development.
He lauded the Ondo State Governor His Excellency Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa and the State Executive Council for the approval given to him as the new Olojoda of Oda Kingdom.
The highly cerebral monarch equally appreciated Kingmakers, Chiefs, residents and good people of Oda Kingdom for the overwhelming support accorded him.
