The Erelu-Iyaloja General of Akure Kingdom,Chief Mrs Mercy Adefunmilayo Agbeke Adekanye has congratulated the newly sworn-in Akure South Local Government Chairman,Hon Gbenga Fasua.
The Council Chairman who was sworn-in along with his Deputy at the International Cultural Event Centre(Dome) by the Executive Governor of Ondo State,His Excellency Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa will mark a new dawn in the anal of history of Akure South Local Government Area of Ondo State,stated Erelu-Iyaloja of Akure Kingdom.
Chief Mrs Mercy Adefunmilayo Agbeke Adekanye who congratulated the Chairman and his deputy on behalf of Iyalajes,Iyalojas,Babalojas,Babalajes,Erelus,Apates, in Akure South stated that Hon.Gbenga Fasua is a tested and trusted leader that will develop Akure more than he met it.
She however admonished the Council Chairman to always involve the market women and men under her canopy in all the activities of his administration in the Council Area.
She prayed for good success of the Council’s Chairman administration .
