S.A ON NORTHERNERS CONGRATULATES GOV. LUCKY ORIMISAN AIYEDATIWA ON SUPREME COURT JUDGEMENT
The Special Assistant to the Ondo State Governor on Northerners(Ondo Central),Hon.Garuba Goniya has congratulated the Ondo State Governor His Excellency Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa on his victory at the Supreme Court,following the appeal made by the opposition in respect of the Governorship Election held in Ondo State last year.
The Supreme Court judgement that affirmed the candidacy of the Governor is a welcome development and victory for democracy in Ondo State as well as Nigeria.
Now,there is no doubt in my mind that Mr. Governor will have more time to transform Ondo State more than he met through his Odirorun,Odatiwa “Ease”programme that is meant to alleviate the sufferings of the people.
He used the occasion to appeal to cattle rearers entering farms across the state to stop from doing so pointing out that,he is already collaborating with Security Agents in Ondo State to fish out bad elements among the herdsmen,which ever tribe they belong to.
He affirmed that any cattle rearers found destroying crops in the farms will be arrested and prosecuted.
“Enough is Enough of people trying to destroy the image of Cattle rearers in Ondo State because we are peace loving people”,he stated.
He admonished farmers in Ondo State to always get in contact with him, leaders of all the tribes,security agents ,anytime they see strange person of any tribes around their farm settlements for arrest and prosecution.
Ondo State is the most peaceful State in Nigeria,all hands must be on the deck to ensure that the State remain peaceful.So ,people should say something if they see something,because security should be responsibility of everybody, he explained.
