SPECIAL ASSISTANT TO THE ONDO GOVERNOR ON NORTHERNERS FELICITATES WITH ISLAMIC ADHERENTS,CONGRATULATES PRESIDENT TINUBU,AIYEDATIWA ,TRADITIONAL RULERS AS HE PREACHES LOVE PEACE AND UNITY
The Special Assistant to the Ondo State Governor on Northerners and Chairman APC Hausa-Arewa in Ondo State Hon.Garuba Goniya has congratulated all the Islamic adherents all over the world on the occasion of celebration of Sallah,held all over the Globe today.
He admonished them to sustain the lessons/lectures learnt during the Ramadan period.Pointing out that wherever they are,they should ensure peace,unity as well as show love to one and other irrespective of their religious divide.
He used the occasion to congratulate the President and Commander-in Chief,Federal Republic of Nigeria,His Excellency Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu on the celebration of Sallah 2025.
He congratulated the President on the occasion of his 73rd Birthday,and wished him long life in good health as he steers the Ship of Nigeria to a greater height in the nearest future.
In another development.he used the occasion to felicitate with his Principal who is the Governor of Ondo State,His Excellency Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa whom he described as a peace personified.
“Our Governor has ensured that peace is prevailed in Ondo State among all ethnic groups,as Ondo State has remained one of the peaceful States in Nigeria,due to the ingenuity of the Governor”,he explained.
Hon.Garuba Goniya used the occasion to thank and appreciate all the traditional rulers in Ondo State for accommodating them in their various domains across the length and breath of Ondo State.
” We are very grateful to them all using the Deji of Akure Kingdom Oba(Dr) Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi who is the Ondo State Chairman Council of Obas as a point of contact to all the monarchs in Ondo State”,he stated.
He once again reminded the Hausa-Fulani and other Northerners in Ondo State to live with their host communities peacefully.
“If you observed any strange movement,or suspect anyone,try and contact and report to the nearest Police Station.”If you see something,say something because security should be the duty of everyone”,Hon.Garuba Goniya admonishes them.
