FINAL FUNERAL AND THANKSGIVING SERVICE, ELDER AYO AWOWALE,PRINCESS ADEFEMI ADEGOROYE AND OTUNBA ATAYESE OF AKURE KINGDOM/ ASIWAJU OF ILEKUN CHIEF DR.ADEOYE ADEDIPE CELEBRATE GRANDMOTHER,MOTHER AT A COLOURFUL CHURCH CEREMONY IN ONDO STATE,NIGERIA
All roads led to Ilara-Mokin in Ondo State,Nigeria whenElder Ayo Awowale,Princess Adefemi Adegoroye and a renowned son of the soil,.Chief Dr. Adeoye Adedipe(The Otunba Atayese of Akure Kingdom and Asiwaju of Ilekun),led family members, friends ,associates top brass of the Society to a colourful final, outing and thanksgiving funeral service ceremony held at St.Micheal Anglican Church,Ilara-Mokin,in honour and remembrance of his late grandmother Princess Comfort Faleda Olofinsao and mother Princess Felicia Ebun Oladoyinbo Adedipe ,penultimate week.
During the church service,the officiating Minister Ven.Dr.John Osho described the departed souls as humility personified and admonished the congregants to emulate their life styles.
He stated that people should endeavour to live a life worthy of emulation because of tomorrow pointing out that life is very short,and there is a need for individual to bequeath good legacies on their children.
The preacher urged the children of the deceased to establish a Foundation in memory of their parents so that their good names will continue to re-vibrate in the mind of the people for several years.
Speaking on behalf all the children during the occasion,Chief Dr. Adeoye Adedipe who averred that he did not know his mother physically appreciated his senior brother who cared for him when his mother died in the year 1955.
He used the occasion to donate generously on behalf of the family to the growth and development of St.Micheal Anglican Church,Ilara-Mokin,Nigeria.
Among several Nigerians that graced the occasion are;Oba Aderemi Adefehinti Alara of Ilara-Mokin,Oba Olufemi Omoleewo the Elekun of Ilekun, Erelu-Iyaloja General of Akure Kingdom Chief Mrs Adefummilayo Adekanye ,Elder Ayo Awowale(Son of the deceased),Engr.Alex Olofinsao,Mr.Ibukun Abraham Olofinsao and wife,Dr.Adeleke Adedipe,Surveyor Adekunle Adedipe, Princess Adefemi Adegoroye (daughter of the deceased ),,Prophetess Remilekun Esan,Prophetess Omobajesu Adesida,,Ven Kujero,the Kabiyesi of Imesi-Ile in Osun State(represented) etc.
Shortly after the Church the celebrants and their guests converged at Ilara-Mokin Civic Centre Hall,along Alara of Ilara-Mokin’s Palace,where they were entertained with different menus with a popular musician.
