The Ondo State Chairman of National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), Ambassador Ademola Odudu has been conferred with an award of
RESTORER OF MODESTY AND DECENCY in the National Union of Ondo State at a colourful event,packaged by TRUMPET GLOBAL MAGAZINE.
Ambassador Ademola Odudu since his inception as the Ondo State Chairman of NURTW,has rejuvenated the body by ensuring that peace continues to prevail among members of the Union across all the nooks and crannies of Ondo State.
He has equally incorporated all the past leaders of the Union back to the system and placed them of monthly salaries.
While,the State Officers currently serving in his government are not left behind in the scheme of things.As they are not being owed any salary,while the State Secretariat Staff of the Union,do laugh home every month with jumbo pay.
Odudu versed in Union matters will soon complete the swearing-in of Chairmen and Excos at the Branch level in Ondo State based on the constitution of the Union and approval of the Ondo State Governor.
In his usual style, during the swearing in ceremonies,he harped that the Chairmen and the Excos should always maintain peace all the time,he explained to them that peace is sanscroscant.Nothing can be achieved in an atmosphere that is devoid of peace,Odudu added.
He was full of appreciation to the Ondo State Governor,His Excellency Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for restoring back National Union in Ondo State.
“The Governor doesn’t want to hear anything relating to public disorder, chaos,brigandage and any act that can jeopardize the relative peace being enjoyed in Ondo State from the Union”,Odudu warned.
National Union has gone beyond the stone age of taking over of the Union’s Government through violence means.Everything now is “Turn By Turn”,he clarified.
The highly cerebral Union Chairman is a recipient of many awards in and outside the State especially that of the media the watch dog of the society.
Odudu achievements in office may not be unconnected with the recognition and honour being accorded him in the most recent time.
Speaking to Journalists during the Sunday 17th award, Odudu stated that the award will spur him to do far more better than before.
“I will continue to maintain peace in National Union,Ondo State Council with the onus of making the entire state placid in line with the policy and directive of His Excellency Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa,the Executive Governor of Ondo State.
He appreciated the organizers of the ceremony and the media in general for promoting the activities of the Ondo State Government and the Union and admonished them to shun sensational report of news and report.
Among the State Officers that accomplained him to the occasion are; Alhaji Sulaiman Adebayo Amosa the State Secretary of the Union, Chief Adepetu Bembe State Vice Chairman 1,Com.Ogedengbe Ogunmuyiwa Assistant State Secretary, Alhaji Kazali State Financial Secretary,,Com.Bola Way the State Assistant Financial Secretary,Com Friday Bosede Chairman Ifelodun Branch of NURTW with some branch Chairmen etc.graced the occasion to felicitate and rejoice with their performing State Chairman Ambassador Ademola Odudu.
