..As The Principal Ambassador Dr Omobola Ojoge Fetes Media Practitioners in Ondo State.
All roads led to Fiwasaye Girls’ Grammar School recently, when the Fiwasaye Old Girls” Association celebrated their back to School programme amidst pomp and thrills.
The colourful ceremony attracted Fiwasaye Old Girls’ Association in and outside Nigeria and other very important dignatories who took their time to attend the special occasion.
Some of the Fiwasaye Old Girls’ Association who are now occupied important positions in various fields of human endeavours took time to recapitulate on their days, when they were students of the Grammar School.
A one time Permanent Secretary and Head of Service in the Ondo State Government Mrs Kolawole Kosemani one of the Fiwasaye Old Girls’ Association stated that the School modeled her life academically and also in the area of discipline.
According to her,the knowledge and discipline impacted on her life by the School guided her through her public service where he rose through different positions until she became the Head of Service in the public service of Ondo State.
Earlier,Mrs Kayode Ojo Permanent Secretary, Cabinet Office Ekiti State appreciated God Almighty for the Back To School Programme of the Fiwasaye Old Girls’ Association (FOGA) adding that Fiwasaye Girls’ Grammar School is a citadel of learning and a PRIMUS INTER PARES among its contemporaries in Nigeria.
She stated that the School has produced many Professors, Commissioners, Permanent Secretaries, Distinguished Nigerians in various fields of human endeavours etc.
She averred that Fiwasaye Old Girls’ Association as usual will continue to do the needful to support their Alma-Mater.
Meanwhile, members of the Fiwasaye Old Girls’ Association lauded the present Principal of the School, Ambassador (Dr) Omobola Ojoge for maintaining discipline and high academic performances of the Students.
Earlier,the School has commissioned a Sports Palliation where State and
National Competitions in Volleyball, Handballs, Badminton, etc can be held.
The Ondo State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Hon.Omoyofunmi
who commissioned the Sports Palliation described the Principal of the School Ambassador Dr Omobola Ojoge as dogged and committed School administrator adding that with the commissioning of the Sports Palliation, sporting activities will further be promoted in Ondo State.
On Thursday 12th of February,the School held its annual sports fiesta where the Purple House won the first position and different talents discovered among the students with their counterparts invited from various Schools across the Sunshine State.
Meanwhile,the media friendly Principal of the Grammar School has hosted some media Practitioners in Ondo State to a get together launch where she commended them for being balanced in the reportage of news and information that has to do with Fiwasaye Girls’ Grammar School Akure,Ondo State.
