The Rector, Federal Polytechnic Ile-Oluji in Ile-Oluji/Okeigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State,Dr.Ademola Iyanda Ebeloku has commemorated with the adherents of Islamic and Christian religion on the commencement of Ramadan and Lenten season that began on 18th of February,2026.
According to a Press Release personality signed by the Rector and made available to media Practitioners in Ondo State by the Deputy Registrar Information Protocol and Passages, Mr. Enigbokan,the Rector expressed his heartfelt goodwill message to all members of the Polytechnic Community who are observing the very important spiritual exercise adding that Ramadam and Lent are profound seasons of faith, reflection, sacrifice and renewal.

The Rector averred that though the periods are usually observed in different ways, the periods call for self discipline, fasting and prayers, compassion, generosity and commitment to peace and humanity.
In his words ” to the Muslim faithful,as you observe the month of Holy Ramadan,may this sacred period strengthen your faith, purity your heart and bring abundant blessings to you and your family”,stated by Dr.Ademola Iyanda Ebeloku.
In the same vein,he prayed that as the Christian began their Lenten season too,it will bring blessings to them all.
He admonished the Academic Community to build on the religious diversity and mutual respect the season offers them as an opportunity to reaffirm their commitment to peaceful co- existence,moral integrity and collective progress.
