The Yoruba Youth Assembly South Western Nigeria has conferred a distinguished leadership award of Integrity on Dr. Ademola Iyanda Ebeloku, the Rector Federal Polytechnic Ile-Oluji,Ondo State.
According to the helmsman of YYA , he stated that the award was presented to the Rector because of his various achievements and pragmatic leadership.
The President of Yoruba Youth Assembly Aare Olarinde Thomas added that the award is in recognition of the Rector’s love for education and admirable leadership qualities.
He averred that the awardee was conferred as the Grand Commander of ideal Education in Nigeria in the year 2025 because of his positive impacts and huge contributions for the empowerment of the youth, students and others.
Reacting,the Rector thanked the Yoruba Youth Assembly for the Honour and there after dedicated the award to the Polytechnic Community.
He equally appreciated the Principal Officers of the Polytechnic for their unwavering support that makes his job as the Rector Federal Polytechnic Ile-Oluji seamless.
Among the attendees during the occasion are:the Deputy Rector Dr.Samson Omogbehin, Registrar Mr.Gabriel Awe, Bursar Mr.Ebenezer Olabode, Polytechnic Librarian Dr.Racheal Aladeniyi amongst other dignatories.
YYA is the umbrella body for all the youth organizations in the South West with the aim and objectives of promoting Yoruba culture and traditions, indigenous languages as well as serving as platform for Youth Engagement and Leadership development etc.
