ONDO STATE NURTW CHAIRMAN ,COM ADEMOLA ODUDU BAGS PILLAR OF PEACE AWARD
The Ondo State Chairman of NURTW, Com.Ademola Odudu shall be presented with an award of PILLAR OF PEACE on 29th of September, 2024 at the Banquet Hall of Parliament Hotel, Akure, the Ondo State Capital.
The prestigious award to be conferred on him as the part of activities marking another yearly anniversary of TODAY’S NEWS MAGAZINE shall be held at the Banquet Hall of Parliament Hotels in Akure, the Ondo State Capital by 2:00pm prompt.
According to a press release made available to journalists by the organizers of the event, the NURTW Chairman was selected to be so honoured due to her contributions to the development of national Union in the area of peace and harmony since he became the Ondo State Chairman of the body. “He has brought sanity,unity and togetherness to the National Union in Ondo State.His listening proficiency and sense of judgement on all matters relating to the progress of the Union cannot be underestimated “,the statement read.
Expected at the occasion amongst other awardees are, His Excellency Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa the Ondo State Governor (Executive Guest of Honour) His Imperial Majesty Oba (Dr) Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi CFR,the Deji of Akure,(Royal Father of the Day) , Chief Sunday Owoyemi, Oluomo 1,of Akure Kingdom who is the Chairman of the occasion, Chief Samuel Aanu Ijiti (CEO EVER-SHINE FILMS AND TRAVELS LTD)who is the Special Guest of the occasion, High Chief Rotimi Olusanya Asamo of Akure, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan , Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Ondo State, Sheik Abdulahi Dangari the Sarkin Shasha, Oba -Ile Akure North, Ondo State.
Others are Captains of Industries, Technocrats, Top brass of the Security Agencies, Traditional Rulers etc
A lecture entitled THE ROLE OF MEDIA PRACTITIONERS AND OTHER CRITICAL STAKEHOLDERS DURING THE ONDO GUBER ELECTION shall be delivered by DR.A ADETOYINBO from Federal University of Technology,Akure.
Other awardees include;Ondo State Commander, Special Anti Cultism Squad,Alhaji Alaro from Ibadan,Alhaji Garuba Bello from Sokoto State,the Ondo State Chairman, CEO ALASCO INDUSTRIES,Mr. Sunday Ajakaiye from Ekiti State and others.
