ONDO GOVERNOR RECEIVES DEJI’S ROYAL BLESSINGS, AS HE PROMISES MORE DEVELOPMENT IN AKURE
The Governor of Ondo State His Excellency Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa who is the APC governorship candidate for the Nov.16th 2024,in Ondo State has received the traditional royal blessings of the Deji of Akure, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi (Odundun 11) during his campaign tour of Akure South Local Government of Ondo State and visit to the Deji in his palace yesterday.
The governor was accompanied to the Deji’s palace amidst pomp and thrills by several thousands of APC members including his running mate His Excellency Olayide Adelami(Deputy Governor Ondo State), Engr.Ade Adetimehin Ondo State Chairman APC,party loyalists, NURTW members led by Com.Ademola Odudu, Supporters, Chairman Akure South LGA ,Hon.Abitogun, market traders,etc .
Speaking,the governor appreciated the people of Akure for their support and promised to provide more social infrastructure in the state capital pointing out the road construction and rehabilitation is pivotal to his administration’s transformational agenda and declared that Akure will benefit immensely from his government in all spheres .He therefore solicited for more support from the people of the ancient city with a view to winning the Nov.16th Governorship Election in the State.
“Akure is one of the most peaceful state capitals in Nigeria, being the state capital, it will be beautified in a such a way that will attract foreign investors to the state “,the governor stated.
Meanwhile, the governor has equally visited towns and villages in Akure South, where he promised more social utilities if elected as the next governor of Ondo State for the continuation of his transformational agenda.
