HIGH CHIEF OLALEKAN YUSUF SULAIMON BECOMES THE FIRST ELEMO OF AGBEJA KINGDOM IN AKURE NORTH LGA, ONDO STATE
High Chief Olalekan Yusuf Sulaimon has been officially installed as the first Elemo of Agbeja Kingdom in Akure North Local Government Area of Ondo State.
Performing the traditional installation of High Chief Olalekan Yusuf Sulaimon, the Monarch of the ancient community His Highness Olu Anthony Sunday Fayeun admonished the newly installed High Chief to use his wealth of experience with a view to enhancing accelerated development of the serene community.
“As a youth, you must endeavour to galvanize all the youths and the aged in our community in order to attract and bring more social amenities to this area. Apart from that, you must respect the custodian of culture and tradition of Agbeja all the time, while any act of bringandage must totally be shunned “,the monarch declared.
Speaking exclusively with Today’s News Correspondent, High Chief Olalekan Yusuf Sulaimon promised to work closely with Olu Agbeja, Chiefs and residents of the community in order to attract government attention and development to the area.
He commended the Ondo State Government led by His Excellency Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for embarking on the construction of Igoba-Agbeja-Osi road. “The construction of the road will improve the economic activities of the people”,he stated.
He appreciated the Olu of Agbeja, Chiefs, family members for their unwavering support that cumulated into his installation as the first Elemo of Agbeja Kingdom and promised never to disappoint them.
