The Isoko Development Union under the leadership of Prince Victor Omokaroefe Agbadhe will on Saturday 2nd of May,2026 come together for its First Annual Anniversary and Launching of 20 millions Naira Secretariat building Project,at NLC EVENT CENTER Ondo road, Akure the State Capital,by 11:00am .
Speaking to Journalists,the President of the Union in Ondo State stated that the people of Isoko came to the Sunshine State in 1956, before the creation of Ondo State.
“So the creation of Ondo State met the people of Isoko here who are predominantly farmers then, but some of us now are into other relevant businesses as well as improving the economy of the State”,the President of the Isoko Development Union Prince Victor Omokaroefe Agbadhe pointed out.
He stated the forthcoming anniversary of Isoko Development Union is meant to bring their people who are in the nooks and crannies of Ondo State together with a view to fostering unity, peace and progress amongst them.
He added that some of them will be HONOURED based on their various contributions to the development of the socio-cultural organization.
During the occasion,our State Secretariat building Project will also be launched,he added.
Earlier,he commended the Ondo State Governor His Excellency Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for his giant strides in the area of roads construction and rehabilitation, security, education, health and agricultural revolution amongst other numerous numerous achievements.
He admonished the Ondo State Government under the able leadership of His Excellency Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa to assist them through the empowerment programs adding that the “Ease Government” “Odirorun Odatiwa” policy of Mr.Governor is a welcome development and therefore begged the Governor to extend his good hands of fellowship to the people of Isoko living in Ondo State.
Presently, our population in Ondo State is more than 300hundred thousand,we have our PVC,and we are very loyal to the State Government.Therefore,there is an urgent need for the government of Ondo State to recognize us like the government has done for other ethnic nationals in Ondo State,he stated pronto!.
