SARKI ASSURES AIYEDATIWA OF HUNDRED PERCENT VOTES FROM ONDO NORTH SENATORIAL DISTRICT

of Ikare Kingdom and S. A to the Ondo State Governor  on Northerners, Ondo North Senatorial District HON. ALHAJI MOHAMMAD JAMIL HALADU has stated that by the special grace of Almighty Allah, the Executive Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa . will secure one percent votes from the Northern Senatorial District during the forth coming November Governorship Election in the State. “All the Northerns in Ondo .North Senatorial District shall vote enmasse for the Governor and will never lose any of our votes to any other political parties during the Governorship Election”,he declared. He made the disclosure while fielding questions from journalists in Ikare Akoko earlier today.The S.A stated that some of their members in other political parties have vowed to vote for the governor explaining that they  hinged  their decision to vote for Mr.Governor because he has done what his predecessors in office never did by ,appointing three SAs among the Hausa-Arewa  (Northern Non Indigenes) into his cabinet.Moreso, other tribes equally benefitted from the various appointments of the governor,he added.
In another development,he stated that there was no EndBadGovernance protests in Ikare-Akoko ,other towns and villages because the governor had earlier held peace meeting with different stakeholders in Akure which the Akoko North East LGA ,Ikare-Akoko Chairman Hon.Mohammad Mutiu Olawale equally held same peace meeting with the people of the area, with a view to ensuring peace and shun protests.
He stated that nothing can be achieved in an atmosphere devoid of peace and urged the masses to always embrace dialogue instead of protests all the time.
He assured all the Hausa-Arewas in the Northern Senatorial District of the state that they will be carried along in all the programme of the government geared towards promoting their welfare.
The Sarki condemned the recent killing of a farmer in Oka-Akoko and described the killing as callous, barbaric and ungodly.He admonished the people of the area not to take laws into their hands and allow security agencies to investigate the barbaric act,so that the perpetrators can be arrested and brought to justice.
In the SA’s words “when I heard about the incident,I rushed to the scene with my people and the security agents I was there from 8:30am- 9:45pm in the night before I returned home”,he explained.
We were able to pacified and calmed down the people of the community and the family of the late farmer to enshew bitterness that they should allow government to intervene in the case,he stated.
He used the occasion to commend the Ondo State Commissioner of Police,the  S.A to the Governor on Security and other security agencies for their prompt intervention that brought the situation under control.
He however stated there is no clear evidence yet that any of the Fulanis was the perpetrator of the dastard act and appeal to the people to allow the police investigate the barbaric act.
