The Hon.Special Assistant to the Ondo State Governor on Northern Indigenes in the Ondo South Senatorial District,Hon.Isa Umar has stated that,the election of His Excellency Lucky Orimisan aAiyedatiwa the Executive Governor of Ondo State during the November Governorship Election is sancroscant
He made the disclosure while fielding questions from Today’s News Correspondent in Ore,Odigbo Local Government Area of Ondo State earlier today.
He stated that the Hausa-Arewa Community in the Southern Senatorial District of Ondo State has vowed to vote and ensure the victory of Mr.Governor during the election by voting for him massively.”In Ore and other towns and villages in the Southern Senatorial District,we are all in the Progressive Party and we shall vote for our APC governorship candidate
overwhelming during the election,” he declared.
He was full of appreciations to the Ondo State Governor for appointing three S.As from Hausa-Arewa in Ondo State.
Such appointment was first of its kind in the anal of history of Ondo State where Northern Indigenes and other tribes benefitted immensely,Hon.Isa Umar added.
He declared that peace and numerous achievements have been recorded since the Governor assumed duty especially in the area of road construction and rehabilitation, regular payment of salary and gratuity, agriculture revolution, employment into the civil service,MoU with foreign investors, purchase and distribution of Hylux Vehicles to Security Agencies in Ondo State etc are some of the governor’s numerous achievements since he was sworn-in,Hon.Isa Umar pointed out.
He therefore implored the good people of Ondo and the non indigenes to give their unalloyed support to Governor all the time “
” There’s no doubt in my mind,that all the residents of Ondo State will continue to feel more positive impact of democracy by supporting His Excellency Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa before, during and after the governorship election”,he explained.
He stated that in Odigbo Local Government Area and other LGAs in the Southern Senatorial District, nothing like ethnic clashes nor herdsmen and farmers attack because Ore is the Commercial Center of the Area and Ondo State.Indigenes and non Indigenes have continued to live in peace and orderliness for so many years, and they have maintained the trend till today”,he pointed out.
” So, during the EndBadGovernance protests, nobody,tribe or group came out to participate in this area,due to the earlier peace meeting called by the governor of the state with relevant stakeholders,so our people should always embrace dialogue because nothing can be achieved in a violent situation”,he quipped.
