ONDO GOVERNOR FLAGS OFF GOVERNORSHIP ELECTION CAMPAIGN, PROMISES MORE DIVIDENDS OF DEMOCRACY

It was like a carnival yesterday when APC flagged off it Governorship Election Campaign in Ondo Central Senatorial District held in Ondo City amidst pomp and thrills as party members across the length and width of Ondo State gathered in thousands to witness the occasion.

Speaking during the occasion, the governor of Ondo State announced for payment  #73,000:00 as minimum wage for the state workforce in the Sunshine State,despite the fact that the Federal Government approved #70,000:00 as minimum wage.He added that his administration is fully committed to the welfare and well-being of civil servants in Ondo State.

The governor promised to continue in his transformational developments across Ondo State and implored the people to demonstrate their love towards him by voting massively for APC during the Nov. 16th Governorship Election in Ondo State for continuity of his government.

According to the correspondent of Today’s News who covered the flag off ceremony, the Governor promised to deliver more on dividends of democracy, ensure adequate security, medical delivery, agricultural development, employment generations, quality education as well as makes the welfare of the people upper most in his administration agenda,among others.

Speaking during the occasion,the Ondo State Chairman of APC,Engr.Ade Adetimehin, admonished the people of Ondo State to vote for the APC candidate,Gov.Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa for continuity of good governance in the sunshine state.

One of the immediate past members of the Ondo State House of Assembly,Hon.Success Taiwo Turhekrijo while feiding questions from Today’s News Correspondent during the occasion, described the Governor of the State as a God sent who is ready to move the state to the next level.He appealed to the people of the state to vote massively for the APC candidate,for continuity and economic posterity,peace and rapid development of the state. “The governor is a promise keeper,he will not let down, the good people of Ondo State”,he stated.

Also,the Ondo State Chairman of NURTW,Com.Ademola Odudu who led other top brass of the Union and members to the flag off ceremony stated that the victory of His Excellency Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa is sansroscant as far as the Nov.16th Governorship Election is concerned in Ondo State. “We shall win convincingly in all the LGAs,Wards and Units in Ondo State, because the Governor has endeared himself in to the heart of the people since he was sworn- in through his developmental programmes and monumental achievements”,Odudu declared.
