The Governor of Ondo State,His Excellency Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has presented Staff of office to His Royal Majesty Oba Ayodele Akinnadeju as the new Aladeokun of Alade-Idanre in Idanre Local Government Area of Ondo State.
Represented by the Ondo State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs,Alhaji Amidu Takuro,the Governor admonished the new Aladeokun of Alade-Idanre to be magnanimous in victory.
The Commissioner enumerated some of the achievements of Mr.Governor since his assumption of office which includes peace and security,adding that Idanre Kingdom is one of the major priorities of His Excellency Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa intern of infrastructural development.
He added that very soon,the Governor will personally be in Idanre for the installation of a new paramount ruler of Idanre Kingdom.
Speaking,His Royal Majesty Oba Ayodele Akinnadeju who was in a state of ecstasy during the occasion, appreciated the Ondo State Governor for deeming it fit to approve his appointment and subsequent presentation of Staff of office to him as the new Aladeokun of Alade-Idanre.
He appreciated the Governor for the ongoing dualization of Akure-Idanre road adding that Idanre Kingdom deserves at least one Tertiary Institution and therefore appealed to the Governor,to consider establishing a Tertiary Institution in the ancient Idanre Kingdom.
Oba Ayodele Akinnadeju stated that as the new Aladeokun of Alade-Idanre,he would be a Servant of the people but added that he will be blunt in the discharge of his traditional roles.
He called on the Ondo State Government to expedite action in the process of installing a new Owa of Idanre,the people are yawning to see the new Owa of Idanre Kingdom,he pointed out.
His Royal Majesty Oba Ayodele Akinnadeju appreciated all the Royal Fathers that came from far and near to rejoice and celebrate with him on the historical occasion of the presentation of Staff of office to him by the Ondo State Governor, His Excellency Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.
